Arnie and Susan Lutzker attended the June 2-June 3, 2022 Vienna “fly-in,” the first post-pandemic international gathering of INBLF lawyers. The event was hosted by Vienna member firm Kunz Wallentin Rechtsanwälte GmbH and included representatives of member firms from the UK, France, the Netherlands, Hungary, Italy, Brazil, Luxembourg and the Czech Republic. U.S. attendees, in addition to Arnie and Susan, were Charly Kagay from San Francisco and Ellisa Habbart from Delaware. Several prospective INBLF members also attended, including lawyers from two firms in Ukraine, who are currently working in Vienna and Germany. They not only continue to serve their clients but are doing everything they can to aid charitable efforts in their country. Their courage is awesome.
Attendees participated in in-depth discussions of topics in litigation, mergers & acquisitions and real estate. As part of the afternoon presentations, Arnie discussed legal issues to be considered in deciding whether to store data in the cloud or on a private office server. His Power Point is attached here.
There was time for informal networking as well and, of course, to enjoy some fine Austrian Gruner Veltliner.
